Throughout the semester there were many blog posts that we had to do that were unique and also challenging, but my favorite blog post would have to be the Master's Photos assignment. Three reasons why this was my favorite was because we had to be inspired by a photographer who's work we had to learn about. Also being able to mimic their work was a fun challenge because we had to improvise with what we had available to us. My final reason would have to be that out of this assignment I believe I had taken a couple of my favorite photos this semester.
Here is a link to that post - Favorite Blog Post
Out of all the photos I have taken this semester I would have to say that this photo is my favorite.
This photo would have to be my favorite because it really looks like as if she was captivated by something in he microscope. Also I love the angle and the alignment in the photo with the three microscopes pointing in her direction. My last reason that this is my favorite would be that it came from my favorite blog post and I really enjoyed doing this assignment.
I think that these are the best photos I have taken this whole semester.
In this photo I like how the rule of thirds is incorporated in the photo. The way the work and his tool are lined up in the photo I think is great. The fact that it captures his focus and you can see the fatigue in his face really brings out the naturalness of the picture. Another reason why I like this photo is that you can see the texture of the wood flying out as the saw is cutting the board.
I really like this photo because you can see the intenseness in his face, as he always looks like this. I also like the framing of the picture with the building in the background and its different shapes. The shadows also really align his face in this photo.
This photo is also one of my favorites, the way he is positioned gives him a sort of super hero (like spiderman) quality. Also the symmetry with the windows and the way he is positioned really sets the photo in a good way. The black and white also gives the subject a sort of mysterious look to it also which I really enjoy.
Three Advantages of Working in Groups
- Getting to know those people better
- Learning how to cooperate and work together
- Understanding people and finding out why they are the way they are.
Three Disadvantages of Working in Groups
- Confrontations and arguments
- Different ideas
- Disagreements
Henri Cartier-Bresson knew when his photos were good because these three things were aligned, the image, the man, and the world.

I think a project that would interest me would be finding things that are insignificant but that actually mean a lot to our world that most people take for granted.I think that Mr.Farley has a "Hecka Free Zone" so that he has his space and to think about what he has to do.
